Apart from hazelnuts, two walnut shells and seven specimens of acorn are described in table 180. This was the first time walnut had been found in a prehistoric context in Sweden and the specialists of the time were doubtful as to their prehistoric authenticity (Browall 2011:340). No renewed examination of these finds has been undertaken.
